Helen L. Kremer, age 93, of Littleton, CO and formerly of Yankton, SD, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother passed into God's loving hands on February 11, 2015 at the Legacy House Hospice Center, Littleton, CO. She had a fabulous 93rd birthday party with family and friends the day before. Funeral services will be 2:30 PM, Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home & Crematory, Yankton, with Rev. Robert Wullweber officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories. Visitations will be 5 to 7 PM, Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home & Crematory, Yankton, and then one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Helen was born February 10th 1922 in Yankton and spent most of her long life in the Yankton area. She was a teacher, a homemaker and worked many years for Montgomery Wards in Yankton.
She traveled throughout the United States with her husband Roy and friends. She was in her early 20's when she got her first passport and made 2 trips to Europe with family, even tackled the Swiss Alps with grandkids.
She lived an amazing life surrounded by family and friends who dearly loved her.
She is survived by 3 children: Gail Herman, Littleton CO, Sharon Eggers, Littleton CO and William Kremer, Philomath OR; 7 grandchildren: Jeremy Herman, Littleton CO, Damon Eggers, Minneapolis, MN, Guy Eggers, St. Paul, MN, Stacy Herman, Minneapolis, MN, Sheana Eggers, Minneapolis; MN, Matt Kremer, Philomath, OR and Sam Kremer, Philomath, OR; 1 great grandchild, Riley Herman, Littleton CO.
