Obituary of Steven J. Bouska
Steven John Bouska was born in Yankton, South Dakota to William and Leona (Novotny) Bouska on October 28, 1958. He went to Yankton High School and graduated with the Class of 1976. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering at Arizona State University, and his Master’s Degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management. He went to work for Fluor and Kiewit Construction Companies and worked internationally.
Steve enjoyed traveling, scuba diving, hiking, kayaking, and golfing, as well as other adventures around the world. He had strong convictions for preserving the environment.
He is survived by his mother, Leona Bouska of Yankton, SD; his brothers and sisters, Larry (Kathy) Bouska of Sioux Falls, SD, Carol (Wilson) Kleibacker of Madison, SD, Connie (Scott) Voss of Durango, CO, Nancy (Rich) Miller of Bend, OR, Ann (Lonny) Wiedmeier of Yankton, SD, Bill (Kerryann) Bouska of Keizer, OR; as well as many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, William Bouska.
